History: Angelica Archangelica,
a tall plant that is cultivated in Belgium, Holland, France,
Germany, Hungary and India. This plant is often used to flavor many
alcoholic drinks and its candied stem has long been used in
confectionery.
Cautions: Generally non-toxic,
the essential isphototoxic and therefore to be avoided in sunlight.
Avoid during pregnancy.
